Basic Estimating — 3-Day Course

Course Overview

This three-day course provides a comprehensive introduction to the estimating process for electrical construction projects. Participants will learn how to develop material takeoffs, apply labor unit data, and build accurate, competitive estimates that reflect true project costs.

Through hands-on exercises and real-world examples, the course emphasizes practical application to help participants improve accuracy, avoid common estimating mistakes, and better understand how estimates support overall project success.

Registration is $310 per person for NECA members. Education Funds may be applied.

This course may not be suitable for those without prior field or industry experience.
